Zinai, tikrai grazu.
hm… you know, i am not sure if it’s very appropriate to have this thought when watching this movie, but i was just blown away at the strong parallel between the guy in the wheelchair and us and the guy pushing the wheelchair and god… funny how it’s the former one that’s getting all the praises and the latter one that really does the crucial work and helps the other one regain his dignity. it’s a beautiful clip in itself, though, i hope i haven’t spoiled the impression with this comment.
Maija, as I watched this video, I did not go as far as us/God analogy, but I did think of the guy who was pushing the wheelchair and pulling the boat. I was thinking of how he valued human dignity to dedicate his life to doing all of this to the disabled person. So, I totally agree with what you had to say. We have hands so that we give away the blessing we receive – our abilities. Soli Deo gloria.
